Meryll Faulkner is a government accredited teacher (workplace category 4) and is also a full Member of the Australian Society of Make-up Artist.

	Meryll has just returned from the USA, where she undertook advance training with Oscar nominated, and leading Hollywood make-up artist Tina Earnshaw. Tina Earnshaw's credits include Titanic, Shakespeare In Love, the Talented Mr Ripley, and is currently working on Spiderman 2. Meryll believes it is important to continually update her skills and to keep in tune with the latest techniques and trends in make-up artistry.

Principal and Teacher Meryll Faulkner has over 20 years experience as a Professional Make-up Artist, and Educator. The school was established 5 years ago and has gained a creditable reputation amongst the Beauty and Make-up industry due to the many awards and achievement in the Fashion and Bridal Make-up Industry. More recently a student of Making Faces, Zoe McMillian won the prestigious Art of Make-up Artist Award at the International Beauty Expo 2002.
	Meryll regularly attends master classes locally and overseas, where techniques and trends are updated. At Making Faces we have a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge, to help build confidence, and all students are offered on-going support and work experience. All workshops are delivered by Principal Meryll Faulkner, and are conducted in small groups of 6 for maximum personal attention. The classes are fun, comprehensive and are very hands on, with time allocated for discussion and theory.

Total cost of short courses are $700, Personal use make-up lesson (2 hours) $100.

Dates and Times: Short courses are conducted over 6 x 3 hourly workshops either over 6 evenings or a 3-Day block.

Enrolment: Please complete the enrolment form. A $100 deposit is required, which secures your position in the class, a detailed lesson plan and outline of the course is sent confirming your booking.

Students Receive a Professional Certificate, Training Manual and a written personal assessment. Please Note: All brushes and accessories used during the course are supplied, students do not have to purchase these items before starting the course.

Location: 54 Carlton Parade, Carlton NSW 2218 (in Sydney's South). The Studio is the distruibutor for Atelier Professional Makeup. Making Faces also provides certified professional make-up artists with all their make-up needs, including brushes, make-up kits, accessories, and cases at trade prices. Once students are Certificate trained, all their make-up supplies can be purchased at trade prices.

Products We Use: Atelier Professional Make-up is the range used exclusively by Making Faces Make-up Studio. This range is a beautiful, professional photographic make-up, used by professionals in Film, Television and Photographic work.
